GLIDE CARBON FIGHTING BELT

The latest version of the Glide Fighting Belt combines minimal weight with exceptional strength. The plate size and lever angle remain identical to the previous model, which has been extensively tested around the world while fighting large tuna and GT.

The main improvement is the full carbon construction, reducing the total weight to 250 g, compared with nearly 500 g for the previous version.

The composite is manufactured using prepreg carbon, vacuum sealing and high-temperature autoclave curing — the same technology used in Formula 1, MotoGP and aerospace engineering.

Because the resin content is kept to the absolute minimum and the composite is cured at very high temperature, the structure becomes extremely rigid and durable. The surface is naturally scratch-resistant and built to withstand harsh offshore conditions.

The belt is supplied with a new padded waist belt for improved comfort during long fights.
